Celebrating the ten year anniversary of their debut album “Little Truths, Westerly’s alt-rock trio Wild Sun is back at The Knickerbocker. With their honest brand of heartfelt rock and roll, Wild Sun is fresh and raw, and yet accessibly familiar. Their debut album was produced by Bryce Goggin (Pavement, Phish) and a regular on college radio (CMJ Top 200 Chart).

"Little Truths," was named one of the "Top 20 Albums of 2015" by Motif Magazine, and enjoyed attention from Rolling Stone, Spin, Billboard, and Entertainment Weekly. The band has played hundreds of shows and have had to opportunity to share the stage with national touring acts such as The Wombats, Eve 6, Mothers, And The Kids, Quiet Life, and others.

Local Honey

“Proving the axiom, you get what you give, Local Honey gives an outstandingly inspired performance.” With music that attempts to reconcile through melody and poetry, the fine lines that stand in tenuous balance between love and artistic passion, Local Honey fills your ears with a certain and captivating empathy for the nuances that comprise the grey areas of life. The listener will find themselves dancing up a sweat, channeling positive vibrations and a profound zeal for living, and then a few songs later, dabbing at their eyes with a sudden reminder of the strength and sorrow that is a part of everyone’s stories.
