The United Theatre and The Knickerbocker Music Center are excited to present YOUTH ON-THE-MIC, a new open mic series for 6th to 12th graders who want to perform, sing, or play music (whether original or covers) to an audience. Open mics for adults are plentiful, and so often, open mics for adolescents aren't held at actual venues. We are thrilled to offer an alternative, providing kids and teens with a place to play and a community of music lovers eager to hear them.

The first YOUTH ON-THE-MIC will be held on Sunday, November 24th at the Knickerbocker Tap Room from 6-8pm. Doors open at 5:30pm and sign-ups for a spot are first-come the night of. Solo singers, solo instrumentalists, and small bands are welcome, but the space is restricted in size with no room for a drum kit.
