Dr. Westchesterson is known as the most famous rapper in Western Massachusetts and the preeminent Yacht Rocker on Block Island. But his obsession with America’s greatest living songwriter, Bob Dylan, has inspired and informed his own songwriting.
On Friday November 5th at 8pm, Dr. Westchesterson returns to The Knickerbocker in Westerly, RI to interpret selections from the most popular phases of Dylan’s career. The Dr. is backed by a band which includes; Tommy Diehl- drums, Marty Moroney- bass, Rob Davis and Steve “Lightnin’” Lighty- guitars and Hammond B3 legend Paul Savageau.
This performance marks the second time the Dr. has reimagined Dylan’s songs. His last performance of the material at the Knickerbocker in early March of 2020 also served as the Dr.’s last show before lockdown.
